Description
This recognised Cambridge institution is currently looking for a Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function.

Working closely with the Managing Director and senior management team you'll be given complete ownership of your role, taking the lead of the 5-year financial planning strategy, the operational management of the finance department leading a small but dedicatedteam.

You'll be overseeing the statutory accounts and financial reporting, and taking responsibility for the annual accounts for all the various subsidiaries and revenue streams.


This is a key position within the organisation and as well as playing a pivotal role within the senior management team you will also be a key point of contact for external stakeholders, auditors and Governing bodies.


An ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification would be beneficial, but if you have solid experience working with either an educational or non-profit sectors then please get in touch.

The role requires a clear communicator, someone who is used to leading and mentoringsmall teams, and someone who will quickly gain the trust and respect of the senior management team.
