A core part of this is their website, which provides clients with information on our service, the stock market, news, and education.

They are looking for a talented and enthusiastic React developerto join their team that's focused on building, maintaining, and improving the Pensions section of their website.

About the role
The Pensions Product Team is tasked with the following goals:

To deliver the Investment Strategy components of the client's strategy, and maintain this capability to enable them to meet their long-term ambition to become the world's leading digital wealth management platform

What you will be doing

Building client facing solutions within the Pensions Product team in Java, and also solutions that will be hosted within a new cloud environment within the AWS platform. The collection of RestFUL APIs (hosted within AWS lambdas) that will be utilised bya React UI frontend which will also be developed within the Pensions product team.
Developing code with scalability, performance and usability in mind.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code consistency and adherence to coding standards.

Essential experience

Building of robust and scalable solutions hosted on the AWS platform.
Typescript
NodeJS
AWS Lambda
Relational database and SQL (cloud hosted)
Development and maintenance of RESTful APIs
Familiarisation of continuous integration, build pipelines and source code management tools (e.g., Git)
Use of event driven design to create scalable solutions.
Solid understanding of development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
Develop automated unit and functional tests for CI/CD pipelines.
