Sterling Recruitment Services are currently looking to recruit an experienced Yard Coordinator for our client based on Riverside Park, Middlesbrough.

Overall purpose of the role:

Take responsibility for all activities within the Yard area, including the management of waste and other metal streams / storage areas.

Management of the Super-chopper maintenance.
Control the movement of material throughout the Yard area.
Responsible for the mobile plant within the Yard area.

Ensure the entirety of each batch has entered the Super Chopper prior to batch completion, including all areas in and around the Super Chopper.

Responsible for the cleanliness of each bay. Each bay must be completely cleared and swept once a batch has been removed.
Work with the Waste Acceptance Procedure to evaluate incoming feedstock and quarantine any non-conforming items.
Provide 360 grab training and deputise for Logistics Coordinator weighbridge duties when required.
Work as part of a team that may involve some responsibility for the warehouse and production process.
Deputise for the Shift Supervisor when necessary.

Strong oral communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and make decisions under Company guidelines

Applicants must have a valid in date 360 grab license.

Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
