At Longthorpe Primary School, our vision is to empower children to '_Learn to Learn'_ effectively, simultaneously developing resilience through productive struggle as they become increasingly aware of themselves as learners.

As part of the learning journey they will encounter opportunities to think critically and creatively and collaborate with others.

We are proud to be a founding member of the Peterborough Keys Academies Trust (PKAT) and we currently work with all Trust schools to 'unlock potential' of all children within our community.

Our dedicated staff work incredibly hard to secure good outcomes for children.

They work together to ensure the curriculum we offer is purposeful and memorable for all children as well as offering a wide range of extra-curricular activities and opportunities.

Our provision is enhanced by our good relationships with parents, Academy Committee and the wider community, all of whom we work in partnership with.

As a member of our Academy Committee you will serve as a volunteer to carry forward the vision, values, ethos and strategic direction of the school, which is in line with the Trust's vision and strategic plan; hold senior leaders to account for the educational performance of the school, and ensure that the voices of stakeholders are heard.
