**Machining Technician

**Up to £26/hr - Inside IR35
**37 hour working week (flexible)

12 Month Contract

Contracted position working for a world leading manufacturer producing off-highway machinery, diesel, and natural gas engines.
As a Machining Technician, you will be required to:

Work under very tight timelines on a variety of machining and fabrication jobs within the research & development department to support ongoing and new programmes.
Follow engineers' instructions using a range of CNC and conversational machinery to produce components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Obey business procedures, such as those relating to Safety, Standard Work, and Quality.

The Technician should have the following experience or qualifications:

Experience in operating older, traditional machines; CNC experience would be advantageous but is not a requirement.
Ability to use manual machines.
Team leadership or coordination experience.
FANUC, MAZATROL or Feature-CAM experience.
Apprenticeship served or equivalent qualifications in a compatible field.
Work off own initiative
Excellent communication skills and punctuality.
