Job overview:
St Austell Community Hospital is a busy community hospital with a variety of services including an MIU department, out-patient department, Xray department and Harold White Ward is one of our inpatient areas.
We are looking for a Meaningful Activities Coordinator to join our MDT on the ward.
This is a full-time post but part time hours/job share will be considered.
Main duties of the job:
The post holder will be responsible for planning social and recreational activities, using practical, communication and creative skills to provide a flexible programme of groups and individual activities on and off the ward.
This will be informed by close multi-disciplinary team working and may include developing additional skills and working relationships with other colleagues, including volunteers, to expand the social and recreational opportunities available in line with evolving service needs.
