Are you an IT Support Engineer with experience of 1st/2nd line support? If so, this is a great opportunity to join the world's largest independent company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains.

requires an IT Support Engineerto provide remote and onsite 1st/2nd line IT and Infrastructure Support to internal and external company users.

What you'll be doing:

Provide remote and onsite 1st/2nd line IT and Infrastructure Support to internal and external company users
Ensure that issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner within SLA targets
Involved in the planning, implementation and support of various projects and technologies within the business
Asset management keeping track of IT equipment loaned out and returned from users
Machine builds and configuration
Mobile phones ordering, allocating and keeping the asset register up to date.
Printer management fixing local issues with printing and ordering supplies where required
Software installation/deployment and license management

Skills helpful for the role:

Windows Server and Windows OS

Office 36

Understanding of Networking routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and VPN
Ability and willingness to travel to other sites when necessary, including (occasionally) overseas
Experience working within an ISO27001 / ISO9001 environment
Software installations
Valid UK Driving licence

What you'll get:
