The Business

A fast-growing SaaS company providing a Project Management tool to help large construction projects manage a wide range of tasks spread over multiple sites and 1000s of engineers.

Through both a mobile and web app this tool makes recording activity intuitive and easy for engineers on location whilst also gives managers easy access to project progress through their user dashboard.

The Job

You will join the team as Power BI Analyst responsible for helping to build effective data interrogation and data extraction methods in a fully cloud based environment.

Your team are responsible for delivering outstanding reports that exceed client expectations, both in accuracy of data extracted and the presentation of such data.

Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights.
Create dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power BI.
Identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently.
Analyse data and present it through reports that can help in decisionmaking.
Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks.
To design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts(M-Query) and perform efficient detailed analysis.
Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
Create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations.
Perform SQL querying for best results.

This company have offices in London and Leeds, operating a fully remote working style with access to co-working spaces provided.

Knowledge of tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, PowerBI, and DAX
Be able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions
Able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions
Create functional reporting
Knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design, and more
Basic Knowledge on Cloud Platforms like Azure or GCP or AWS
