We are a newly established dog walking company in London, dedicated to providing top-notch care and (new) training services for dogs of all breeds and sizes.

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Dog Trainer to join our team. As a Dog Trainer, you will play a crucial role in providing professional training services to our client's dogs. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with dogs, helping them to develop good behaviour and obedience skills.


Pay:

- £12 per hour (with expected increase over time)

  • Zero hour contract

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct oneonone training sessions with dogs of varying breeds and temperaments.
  • Develop personalised training plans tailored to each dog's specific needs and goals.
  • Teach basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, heel, and come, as well as addressing any behavioural issues.
  • Utilise positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviours and discourage undesirable ones.
  • Handling and training small and large breeds, addressing a variety of behavioural issues from anxiety to aggression.
  • Educate dog owners on effective training methods and techniques for maintaining consistency at home.
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions and progress made by each dog via our company app.
  • Create engaging and informative training videos for our social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
  • Being selfmotivated and proactive in establishing professional relationships and achieving success in the field.

Requirements:


  • Aged over 2
  • DBS checked.
  • Selfemployed
  • Nonsmoker.
  • Proven experience as a Dog Trainer or equivalent role.
  • Dog training qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of dog behaviour and training techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic and passion for working with dogs.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to various environments.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Must be based in London and have reliable transportation.
  • Own an iPhone smartphone.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms for creating training videos.
  • Enjoy outdoors, in all weather conditions.
