We are a newly established dog walking company in London, dedicated to providing top-notch care and (new) training services for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
Pay:
- £12 per hour (with expected increase over time)
- Zero hour contract
Responsibilities:
- Conduct oneonone training sessions with dogs of varying breeds and temperaments.
- Develop personalised training plans tailored to each dog's specific needs and goals.
- Teach basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, heel, and come, as well as addressing any behavioural issues.
- Utilise positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviours and discourage undesirable ones.
- Handling and training small and large breeds, addressing a variety of behavioural issues from anxiety to aggression.
- Educate dog owners on effective training methods and techniques for maintaining consistency at home.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions and progress made by each dog via our company app.
- Create engaging and informative training videos for our social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Being selfmotivated and proactive in establishing professional relationships and achieving success in the field.
Requirements:
- Aged over 2
- DBS checked.
- Selfemployed
- Nonsmoker.
- Proven experience as a Dog Trainer or equivalent role.
- Dog training qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of dog behaviour and training techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and passion for working with dogs.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to various environments.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Must be based in London and have reliable transportation.
- Own an iPhone smartphone.
- Proficiency in social media platforms for creating training videos.
- Enjoy outdoors, in all weather conditions.
