Description
**We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team and help to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects and/or programmes of work.

Type:
Fixed Term employment contract

Duration: 3 months initially


Hybrid:
Yes - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote


Location:
East Midlands


The role:

The Project Coordinator will deliver low complexity projects; ensuring that they follow defined

processes and comply with IT standards, as well as, required to support with complex projects and/or programmes of work.


Responsibilities:


  • Produce / validate project estimates to ensure that they cover all identified work and represent value for money for IT
  • Drive the endtoend delivery of simple projects within timescale, cost and quality constraints
  • Manage progress against the plan, resource plan and budget in line with business objectives
  • Ensure that projects meet the agreed business customer requirements
  • Proactively manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies, ensuring that these are identified, mitigated or escalated as necessary Process and quality
  • Ensure appropriate compliance with the IT project delivery methodology and processes, identifying issues and opportunities to promote continuous improvement of the delivery processes
  • Ensure appropriate compliance with the IT governance framework, e.g. internal approval and KPIs Communication and stakeholder management
  • Implement project communications plans to engage key stakeholders within and outside of IT to drive their sustained and active commitment to success Finance, analysis and reporting
  • Produce and maintain financial forecasts for all projects by tracking project budgets, actuals, and invoices and accounting for the cause of any variances against forecasts

What you will need:


  • Experience of an IT environment and developing or using IT systems and processes
  • Experience of project delivery
  • Experience of a relevant IT project delivery methodology and processes
  • Experience of managing finances in a spreadsheet or ideally a project tracking tool
  • Understanding of retail environments, including retail processes
  • Prince2 qualification
