**About our service: The Chestnuts is a residential care home in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, that is home to 64 service users. We provide a range of care and support service for our residents, some of whom have dementia.

The Chestnuts provides a friendly, supportive, and welcoming home from home environment with regular and varied activities. As well as these outings and events are also organised.

**Our Night Care Assistant duties will consist of: - To fulfil a range of personal care tasks for people with various physical and emotional needs

  • To develop into a 'Shift Leader' and support the Care Team Leader
  • To undertake a key worker role with identified service users
  • To attend team meetings on a regular basis to feedback information on the progress of individual service users
  • To support new staff by assisting with their induction training and where directed, by mentoring
  • To use care management systems to access and update residents' information
**Our Night Care Assistant skills and experience: - Care certificate, or QCF Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2 or related qualification would be an asset

  • Experience in supporting adults in a care setting or in the community
  • Empathy, kind
- hearted and a great team player

  • A great sense of humour and enjoy having fun
  • An awareness and understanding of highquality care
  • Good communication skills, patience, and flexibility
  • An understanding of safeguarding and personcentred support
  • Available to work shift patterns including working alternate weekends
  • Experience of leading and directing teams to deliver high quality care and support
**Our Night Care Assistants' benefits will include: - 28 days pro rata for hours worked annual leave per annum
