A unique opportunity has arisen for you to become part of a well-established friendly multidisciplinary team supporting Short Stay /admission avoidance at both Heartlands and Good Hope Hospitals.

We are looking for a flexible, self-motivated experienced therapy support worker who is keen to learn and develop. Excellent communication skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure will be essential. We are committed to assisting your training and personal development.


The clinical admission avoidance areas are fast paced and therefore it will be important that you are proactive with excellent organisational skills.

You will work autonomously as well as with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Specialist Nurses and Medical teams in undertaking assessments a to promote supporting patients to avoid admission where possible and facilitate a safe discharge.


You will be required to work across a 7 day service to include working in the evening (for Front Door Work) and at weekends on a scheduled rota.
