Job overview:
This is an exciting and fulfilling role and you will need to be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for nursing people in the community and their own home.
The Redruth team works from the Camborne health office and provides skilled evidenced based care in Portreath, Pool, St Day, four lanes and the surrounding area.
This offers the applicant variety on a weekly basis and includes beautiful countryside and coastal views.
You should also have an understanding of the changing climate of care delivery with the ability to travel independently across the area to fulfil the requirements being essential.
Main duties of the job:
The role of the Nursing Associate is to work with the Registered Community Nurses and other members of the multi-professional team, providing and monitoring care and contributing to the ongoing assessment,
as agreed with supervising clinician(s) and in line with the service pathways.
They will monitor the condition and health needs of people within their care on a continual basis in partnership with the multi professional team.
This role will support the team with wound management and end of life care as well as organising other resources such as equipment.
Support the team by providing supervision, teaching and coaching to students and review patients on the case load and adjust care plans in conjunction with the registered nurses.
