Respond Services are part of the Electrolux Service Force network of domestic appliance service companies.

We are an exclusive service partner of Electrolux Home Appliances and undertake warranty and out-of-warranty repairs for AEG, Electrolux, Zanussi branded and OEM domestic appliances.

We directly employ over 60 field-service engineers and the Group employs over 120 staff across service and retail sales operations.

The Company sells and repairs domestic appliances.


What is the role?
We are seeking an experienced spare-parts delivery driver to join our service centre in Widford Industrial Estate, Chelmsford.

We are one of the largest independent domestic appliance service providers in the UK and operate under licence to the Electrolux Home Appliances Group and other major domestic insurance companies.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering spare parts to Field Service Engineers living in and around the Home Counties
• Loading the delivery vans
• Assisting the Stores Staff by picking parts required for the engineers and other stores tasks
• Must have previous driving experience, preferably driving light goods vehicles
• Be a confident and competent driver
• Be a safe and careful driver
• Have impeccable time keeping
• Have an attention to detail to be able to accurately select correct part numbers
• Take pride in the working environment by keeping the delivery vehicle clean and tidy and helping to do the same in the office stores.
• Take responsibility for the safe condition of the delivery vehicle and ensure that any faults are reported and rectified

BENEFITS OF JOINING THE RESPOND SERVICES:

• Pay package: £23,900 per annum, plus benefits to exceed £30,000
• Overtime Pay
• Daily shift allowance of £8.90 per day, Bonus payment of £15 per day. Total potential remuneration in excess of £26k+
• 20 days paid holiday per year, and will increase by (1) one day for each full year of continuous service, to a maximum of 25 days per annum, plus (8) eight bank holidays.
• Generous company contribution to pension scheme (after probationary period)
• Attendance bonus of up to £500 per annum pro rata payable in November
• The role is permanent, full time Monday to Friday, starting at 4pm
