The Role:


  • A key part of the role as the Registered Manager, will be to support the business in becoming CQC registered. As the business grows, you will ensure CQC requirements are always met and compliance is properly adhered to
  • You will be joining a small Home Care team, being fully supported with autonomy and not being micromanaged
  • Providing the day to day management of care staff, and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ambitious and ready for the challenge of developing a new start up, and being involved in how the business develops
  • Experienced in the development and building of a service
  • Assume full responsibility for CQC compliance and service excellence
  • Good understanding and insight into CQC inspections
  • Be responsible for rota planning and scheduling
  • Caring and empathetic approach developing person centred care plans tailored to personal needs

Registered Manager Duties:


  • Play a key part in getting the business CQC registered
  • Identify new business development opportunities using your network and previous experience
  • Carry out a full assessment on new service users and identify the care required
  • Devise a bespoke personal centred care package for each client
  • Train relevant staff on how to implement the care plan
  • Train new staff and provide ongoing supervision and support
  • Ensure that sufficient staff are recruited to meet the service demand and plans for growth
  • Strive to develop and deliver care of the highest possible standard
  • Undertake scheduled spot checks and service reviews
  • Have a minimum of 24 months' experience working as a Registered Manager in a Domiciliary Care setting
  • Demonstrate an excellent working Knowledge of CQC Standards, Key Lines of Enquiry and upcoming Quality Statements
  • Excellent compliance history and with proven ability of implementing strategies resulting in 'Good' (or better) inspection ratings
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
  • Extensive experience working as a Registered Manager in a Home Care environment
  • Full valid UK driving license
