    We are currently recruiting Christmas Customer Advisors for our North Shields, Silverlink Retail Park store. The ideal candidate will start with us from December onwards and be available to work a variety of shifts between 6am and 9pm, including weekends.

    Available shift patterns include:

    • 6am - 2.30pm
    • 9am - 5.30pm
    • 11.30am - 8pm
    • 12.30pm - 9pm

    About the Role

    This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience as a Christmas Customer Advisor, whether you're new to retail or looking for a challenge. Although this is a temporary contract, there may be opportunities for permanent roles later on, depending on local circumstances.

    You will work in a Boots store under the guidance of the Assistant or Store Manager and could be involved in tasks such as operating the tills, providing customer advice, or working in our back shop. Your responsibilities may also include:

    • Helping customers by answering questions, offering product advice, and assisting with purchases.
    • Ensuring the smooth operation of our stores during the busy Christmas period, which may involve displaying products correctly, providing excellent service at the tills, and managing stock effectively.
    • Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and welcoming store environment that all employees can be proud of.
    • Solving issues promptly and supporting daily operational activities as part of a team effort.

    What You'll Need

    Full training is provided, but we're looking for candidates who possess the following essential skills and experience:

    • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently.
    • Excellent communication and listening skills.
    • A willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
    • An understanding that attention to detail is crucial for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
    • The ability to represent Boots as a proud brand ambassador and help customers find the best products for their needs.

    Desirable Skills

    While not essential, it's desirable if you have experience in customer care and delivering great customer service.
