An exciting opening has arisen for an ambitious graduate who is looking for an opportunity to start their career in wealth management and qualify as a Financial Adviser


The Burford Recruitment Company are working with a leader in wealth management, who work with high-net-worth individuals and companies across the UK.

They are a trusted and highly regarded business who have been established for over 30 years.

Due to theircontinued success, they are looking to appoint a Trainee Private Client Adviser to join their team in the Newcastle-under-Lyme office.

The role of Trainee Private Client Adviser will be challenging and fast paced and will start with learning.

You will be part of the training academy course which involves in house training, mock exams, and CII exams to Diploma qualification within a 15-monthperiod.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • To work within the training group to study and learn
  • To attend client meetings with advisers, and to write up the post meeting file notes and collate documentation in preparation for it to be passed to Technical Support
  • To assist the Advisers in collating information about the client's past and present financial arrangements to enable a full financial needs analysis to be carried out
  • To assist the Advisers in collating information to be able to assess the client's attitude to risk including their willingness and ability to accept

Skills Required:


  • Willingness to undertake study
  • Ability to manage own workload and work within a small team
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ideally you will have a related degree, such as Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Business or similar level qualification
  • Previous experience in an office or customer facing environment.
