Manor Collection compromises of two hotels in Surrey.

We are looking for an Events Coordinator on the Part-Time basis, to join our team at
Reigate Manor in Reigate, Surrey during an exciting period of growth and development.


Purpose of Role


To sell and arrange functions, weddings and meetings for the hotel to meet budgeted requirements set by the management team.

To ensure targets are maintained and that the events budget is achieved each month.


Personal Specification

  • Enjoy working and dealing with the public and being part of a team, both departmental and hotel.
  • Confident, pleasant and an excellent communicator.
  • Must be organise, efficient and selfmotivated.
  • A good personal standard, projecting a professional image at all times.
  • Must be IT literate.

Key Responsibilities

People:

  • Build productive working relationships with guests and colleagues through maintaining a high profile within the workplace.
  • Ensure clear and accurate communication between departments to allow requests to be met on time and at the expected standard.
  • Wear appropriate clothing for the role and maintain a high standard of personal grooming.
  • Attend legislative training as required.

Customer:

  • To promote a helpful and professional image to the customer, giving full cooperation to any customer requiring attention.
  • To attend to customer queries in a caring and helpful manner.
  • To ensure all booking information is recorded accurately.
  • To meet and exceed client expectations in terms of support, quality and service.
  • To liaise with suppliers ensuring correct legislation details are provided.
  • To actively promote the company in a professional manner at all times including the attendance at client events, networking and familiarization visits as required.
  • To attend internal meetings and represent the sales ream and hotels where appropriate.

Sales:

  • Actively participate in any revenue and sales activities operated by the company.
  • To gain and share knowledge on competitors to ensure the hotel retains sustainable competitive advantage.
  • To follow up on all enquiries in a timely manner to maintain conversion leads.
  • Responsible for preparing, sending and ensuring signed booking agreements are in place for all events.
  • To provide and conduct show rounds to the agreed standard.
  • To seek out further opportunities to upsell products.
  • To be part of a sales culture environment which identifies opportunities to maximise sales.
  • To partake in sales initiatives as required
£15,600.00 per annum + incentive scheme
24 hours per week
