Our client is one of the fastest growing companies within their specialism and they are looking for a passionate quarry Manager who will manage day to day Operations, providing planning for short-term and long-term site objectives.

They are a £10 million turnover multi-disciplined business with sites across the Northwest and Yorkshire with future sites planned over the next 5 years.

Who we are looking for?:

An individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who seeks to gain buy in
Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of managing multiple projects
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage large diverse teams
The ability to drive your own agenda and have a flexible approach to operations
A NEBOSH or IOSH qualification would be advantageous
WAMITAB Certificate

Key Responsibilities:

Execute Quarry and Waste Management plans. Deliver safe and controlled plan delivery according to agreed/ legislated plan and methodology
Manage plant defect reporting, minimising plant downtime
Management of all aspects of site personnel including, managing holidays, absenteeism, recruitment, s, performance management, training, and briefings
Responsible for site safety and security. Ensure all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality processes, and site requirements are carried out including development of risk assessments and method statements for all site related tasks and delivery of toolboxtalks to all site personnel
