Cotswold Natural Stone is an established, growing company with an enviable reputation among clients in the construction / stone industry.

We are a small, dynamic team who pride ourselves on a high level of customer service and quality.


You will be managing a small team of office and part field-based sales executives utilising the world class customer show space to achieve, and exceed, sales targets.


The role will suit a passionate and proactive individual with the ability to process, manage and organise to drive best practise and service to the companies' customers and internal stakeholders.

You will need to possess the ability to communicate at alllevels of the business, be a team player and be committed to delivering our company values.


Roles and responsibilities include:


  • Development of budgets and KPI's in collaboration with company Directors
  • Monitoring order intake and sales profile in line with budget
  • Monitoring the performance of team against targets
  • Developing new sales opportunities
  • Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identifying / developing sales opportunities
  • Maintaining, improving and develop the Sales Executives, systems and tools
  • Answering customers questions, resolving their concerns / quality issues and providing additional information
  • Explaining and demonstrating the functions and features of products and services utilising the customer show space
  • Upselling products and services
  • Developing the companies brand and presence working with external service providers, i.e. branders and marketeers
  • Generating comprehensive quotations in a timely manner
  • Follow up opportunities, quotes and maintain regular contact to secure business
  • Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers
  • Work closely with Operations to simplify work flow and business efficiency
  • Issuing monthly reports to socialise sales status and performances

Requirements / Skills / Qualifications:

  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to think strategically and to problem solve.
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience and understanding of branding and marketing
  • Good IT skills, ability to extract data from system for analysis.
  • Sage 50/200 experience advantageous
  • Knowledge of construction desirable but not essential
  • Driving licence
  • Prepared to visit site in all weathers
Hours: 40hrs per week :
