Position:
Factory labourer

Post Objective:

To provide efficient and effective labouring support to BST Supplies including ensuring the general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards.

Other Considerations:
The post holder will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To work in conjunction with machine operators to ensure clean and safe working areas are maintained.
To be responsible for pedestrian walkways within the buildings to ensure they are clean and safe (sweeping, mopping and the use of automatic floor scrubbing machine).
To dispose of waste materials in a safe manner in accordance with the companies recycling program ensuring that it is segregated and available for collection as required.
To undertake Painting and Decorating duties as required.
To clean yard and ensure perimeter of the building is kept clean and tidy.
To carry out Grass cutting and some grounds maintenance ensuring grounds are tidy litter free.
To clean the internal and external windows and other internal glass within the limitations of safe working practice.
To comply with the requirements of Health and Safety, other relevant legislation and company policies.
To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.
