Ishida Europe is a World leader in the design, manufacture and installation of complete weighing and packing line solutions. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a
Stainless-Steel Fabricator/TIG Welder to join the Operations team in
Woodgate.

Main Purpose of the role

This position is not only production welding, but you will need have a background in multi-skilled fabrications within manufacturing stainless steel parts using a variety of production processes and equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

Operate in accordance with Health and safety regulations, departmental procedures, company policies
Producing the highest quality products for the food industry, mostly bespoke work, so must be able to part fabricate and work from drawings.
Fabricating item prototypes and once fitment is confirmed creating Jigs to replicate the component.
Working closely with the Design / Engineering team on the development of new parts and existing products.
Cutting materials to size and folding plus other metal forming techniques, take measurements/mark out, drill, tig welding or joining stainless steel, spot welding / stud welding.
Processing of stainless steel to a high standard (grinding, bead blasting and polishing).
Managing your own workload, ensuring all projects are completed efficiently.
General workshop maintenance and housekeeping.
Carry out machine maintenance and cleaning
Follow company processes and procedures
To support team members with other tasks as and when necessary.
To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant within any manufacturing area.
Be flexible within the team to help others with processes.

What skills are you looking for?

To be successful in the role you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be flexible, have experience of sheet metal fabrication production, welding experience and fabricating experience.

Salary:
Up to £35,000.00 per year
