Therapy For You (NHS Talking Therapies) provides the primary care talking therapy services across south east and north east Essex working with clients presenting with a range of anxiety and depression related problems.


The post holder will hold a small clinical caseload, working within a large team that includes PWPs, cognitive behavioural therapists, IPT therapists, DIT therapists and couples counselling therapists and will support the service with a specific focus on digitally enabled therapies.

This will include designing, building and maintaining our social media presence.

This is a demanding but well supported position.


We are committed to providing an out of hours service to the community and this involves working some evenings or weekends.

The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.


It is essential that post holders have a UK driving licence and/or have access to a vehicle for travelling independently across locations as required.

  • The postholder will provide IAPT compliant therapeutic interventions, holding a small caseload, including offering digitally enabled therapies.
  • The post holder will manage IAPT staff within a designated locality and will be responsible for coordinating services within their locality.

  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • Use complex data analytics to evaluate relationships, patterns and trends to give insight and draw conclusions based on the data to make informed decisions regarding digital service delivery
  • Utilize strong analytical and judgemental abilities to evaluate endtoend client experience across digital therapies
  • Measure and report performance of all digital therapies and assess against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service
  • Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department's referral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary.
  • Formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes for clients
  • Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the number of client contacts offered, and clinical sessions carried out per week in order to minimise waiting times and ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings relating to referrals or clients in treatment, where appropriate
  • Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service.
  • Undertake clinical audits of service performance, including service user surveys and evaluations, and help to collate and disseminate the results for feedback.
