About the role

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out payroll support providing information to external payroll provider
  • Pension data review and payment processing
  • Frequent use of banking systems and XERO.
  • Producing management accounts
  • Making payments and matching payments to invoices
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records
  • Prepare financial reports for management
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws

To be successful you will have:

  • Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience
  • Possess either ICB / AAT qualification or equivalent
  • Have previous experience in with Xero Accounting software
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in completing payroll
  • Possess excellent computer proficiency skills especially within excel.
  • Demonstrate a high attention to detail with data input and throughout other business needs.
  • Experience using banking systems and net suite or similar.

Desirable skills

  • Experience using Xero
  • Demonstrated knowledge of appointment based finance systems
  • Experience in a similar service environment
