Bookkeeper
We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude to work, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who will provide bookkeeping support to the Accounting Team, the ability to work well as part of a team is key.
Key Responsibilities:
As a bookkeeper you would be responsible for a variety of activities that can include:
- Daily usage of financial processes, enhancing and updating where needed
- Management of sales ledger
- Maintaining accounts, verifying, and posting transactions
- Balancing accounts on a daytoday or weektoweek basis
- Recording client assets and handling investments
- Managing client invoices & payments
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and banking contacts
- Working closely with accountants to prepare VAT returns
- Preparing schedules, statements, and reports as requested
- Managing & filing relevant documentation
- Solid organisation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and fast paced to hit deadlines
Advantageous:
- Bookkeeping or accounting qualifications
- Experience in practice
- Knowledge of accounting and practice software
Salary:
£23,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
