(CRIB).




TIMESCALE:
Permanent - Term time only (39 weeks per annum) 8.30am to


4.30pm per day

Pay Scale:
Salary Scale of NJC pay scale: (£29,364 to £30,852 Pro-


rata)


Actual Salary:
£25,156 to £26,430pa


Reporting to:
Camden Reintegration Base Manager


Job Purpose
To support the Pastoral Support Base classes as the second adult and deputise for the Camden
Reintegration Base Leader when necessary.


Job Description - Specific

Main Responsibilities

_1. _ To support colleagues to deliver lessons and the Camden Reintegration Base Manager to deliver character development sessions.


_2. _ To support with administration within the Camden Reintegration Base, communicating with colleagues within the school and across the other Camden partnership schools.


_3. _ To establish and maintain effective communication with students and parents.

_4. _ To support the Camden Reintegration Base lead in delivering the vision for Camden

Reintegration Base ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to.

_5. _ To deputise for the Camden Reintegration Base lead where necessary.

_6. _ To liaise with outside agencies as required.

_7. _ To provide detailed feedback as required to pupils, parents and teachers on pupil achievements and perceived difficulties.

_8. _ To assist with production and maintenance of teaching and other resources where required


_9. _ To run small groups of withdrawal, where appropriate, to support students with a range of needs.


_10. _ To promote the inclusion and acceptance, and encourage self-esteem and independence, of all pupils.

  • Participate in training and development activities and programmes, and attend and participate in meetings.

Person Specification

Qualifications Relevant experience in SEN - including knowledge on role and

  • GCSE in Maths and English or the equivalent, or a willingness to complete.
  • Appropriate inservice or further training.

Experience Experience of working with young people in a school, sixth form college or FE college or in another educational setting in either a paid or voluntary capacity.

  • Experience of using MS Word, Excel and SIMS.
  • Evidence of work in inclusive schools and the Every Child
Matters agenda.

  • Understanding of the implications of the SEN and Disability
Code of Practice.
