Description

My client, a digital marketing company specializing in affiliate marketing and performance-based advertising, is looking for a Data Expert to join their team remotely.

As a Data Expert, you will play a crucial role in building a robust and scalable data infrastructure from scratch and setting up a comprehensive system to manage and analyse data effectively.

This position requires expertise like that of a Data Architect, with a focus on designing and implementing data solutions specific to the needs of an affiliate marketing company.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop a data infrastructure that can support the collection, storage, processing, and analysis of large volumes of data in an affiliate marketing context.
Set up a proper data management system, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security. Develop data pipelines to automate data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
Design and implement a scalable database schema that aligns with the company's requirements, ensuring efficient data retrieval and querying.
Establish and enforce data governance practices, including data standards, data privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Monitor and optimize data infrastructure performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure optimal data processing and analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and develop reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights for business decisionmaking.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including marketing, operations, and IT, to understand their data needs and provide technical support and guidance.

Requirements:

Previous Experience: Proven experience in a similar role as a Data Expert or Data Architect, preferably within an affiliate marketing company.
Expertise in building scalable data infrastructures and setting up data management systems from scratch.
Proficiency in data modelling techniques and tools, ensuring data models align with business requirements and facilitate efficient analysis.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment, managing time and priorities efficiently.
