    The Role


    The team is seeking an Associate – Private Client (3–5 PQE) with experience dealing with international/off-shore clients to join the firm's City of London office.


    You'll be part of the highly regarded Private Client team working on technical legal and tax matters for international private clients.


    Responsibilities will include:
    Providing technical legal and tax advice to both UK and non UK based international clients.
    Advising clients moving to or leaving the UK.
    Structuring and re-structuring wealth such as wills, trusts, and other companies that manage and preserve wealth.
    Assisting with acquisition and disposal of UK assets (often property).
    Drafting wills, trust deeds and related succession planning documents.
    Coordinating with international advisors such as lawyers, accountants, trustees and corporate service providers.
    Contributing to business development and promoting the practice.


    You will start by managing high-level work independently with support from an award-winning team in an established and growing practice.

    Requirements

    3–5 years PQE in a leading private client practice with experience in international or cross-border matters.
    Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
    STEP qualified, or willing to undertake STEP qualification.
    Excellent client relationship management and business development skills.
    Strong analytical abilities and academic background.
