Crewe, CW1 6EG (with some periodic travel to other operating regions including overseas)

Job Purpose:

The role of Head of Distribution is really important to us. This role will have a UK focus but will grow to be a global position supporting of strategic regions.

Radius Telematics is growing month on month, year on year and to support this expansion both in the UK, EU, Malaysia, Australia and the USA and understand that distribution and warehouse management is a key area in ensuring a successful customer journey.

We would love to welcome you to our Crewe Telematics office where we work from 8:30am to 5pm. You'll report to our Group Operations Director.


Your responsibilities day to day will include

  • Endtoend leadership of Logistics and Warehouse function
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of Warehouse functions including Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Management, Logistics, Trade Compliance, HSE, Facilities & Maintenance
  • Working closely with Internal teams to manage the inventory of finished goods at levels balanced against customer service needs and financial targets
  • Exhibit a proactive approach in coordinating with other functions and organisations as required
  • Oversee improvement programmes involving operational functions
  • Continuously drive and deliver improvement across service, quality, safety and cost

What do we expect of you?

  • Strong Leadership experience in a Distribution environment with strong experience in supply to retail
  • Demonstrable experience of import and export practices
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead, coach and mentor colleagues of all levels
  • Experience of operating at a senior level with international responsibility
  • Experience of developing and successfully implementing strategic plans
  • Robust financial and analytical skills
  • You are a selfstarter who wants to get things done, can be relied on, and creates an environment where people can excel with the customer front and centre.
