Job Description - Customer Service Administrator
Right Now Group are recruiting for a large cargo ground handler at Manchester Airport

The role is working within a dynamic and fast paced office environment alongside the client's airline partners, ensuring their cargo is delivered safely and securely around the world


JOB SUMMARY


You will be required as a cargo agent to create and update records of all consignments in the airline computer systems and separate and distribute cargo documents according to airline requirements, you will be also expected to serve customers collectingcargo including taking payments of charges and operate a telephone system in a polite and efficient manner.

in addition, you will liaise with warehouse staff and drivers as appropriate and be responsible for checking dangerous goods to IATA and AVI checks.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic computer skills are essential as you will be operating and using a variety of systems.
  • Previous office experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Fluent in speaking and writing in English is essential
  • We will need to be able to complete Preemployment checks. This will include a 5 year checkable employment / education history, DBS check (criminal record check)
  • In order to secure this role, the client will also require you to complete a full medical which the client will pay for. This will be used to test any problems with Sight, Hearing, General Fitness and problems relating to Drugs & Alcohol.

HOURS OF WORK, SALARY AND BENEFITS

Hours
You will be required to work mixed shifts for a 37.5 hour working week. This will be a mixture of earlies, lates and nights usually consisting of a 12 hour shift. However, on occasion you could be rostered in for an 8 hour shift.


Salary
£21,600 per annum
