Vehicle Trimmer/upholsterer - Chester, United Kingdom - Mahker

Description

We build custom, high end vehicles and are looking for an experienced, passionate trimmer/upholsterer to join our team. You will work with the highest quality materials and help to create beautiful interiors for our unique vehicles.


Responsibilities:

• Upholster seats, cubby boxes, doorcards, dashboards and more.
• Measure, cut, and sew fabric or leather
• Remove old upholstery and padding
• Manage stock and liaise with suppliers
• Use power tools and hand tools to complete upholstery tasks
• Ensure highquality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all upholstery work

Experience:

• Previous experience as a vehicle upholsterer/trimmer
• Skilled with a sewing machine
• Knowledgable in creating and following patterns
• Familiarity with different types of fabrics, leathers, and upholstery materials
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

The salary offered starts from £28,000pa and is dependent on experience.
