Milking Solutions (UK) is a small and dynamic export business located in Monmouth. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service to our global customer base.
We are currently seeking a Trainee Warehouse and Production Technician to join our busy Warehouse and Assembly team.
- The role:_
The main focus of this role is to develop proficient production of milking machine spare parts, however due to the team size, picking and packing of orders as well as supporting goods-in, will be required.
You will learn on the job with the opportunity to undertake either an NVQ Mechanical Manufacturing or Warehousing and Storage, or a 2-year day release to study HNC/HND Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) at Herefordshire and Ludlow College, depending on your qualifications.
As a Trainee Warehouse and Production Technician, you will be taught how to:
- Work from procedures and technical drawings
- Conduct basic inspection of finished products
- Use test equipment to ensure units function as expected
- Basic electrical wiring and installation
- 3D printing and modelling
- Pick and pack orders, preparing for dispatch
- Receiving, moving, checking and storing of received goods
- Moving and organising stock
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times
- About you:_
Previous experience is not required, but you do need to be technically minded with a willingness to learn, and have the ability to complete repetitive tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
Additionally, the successful Trainee Warehouse and Production Technician will:
- Feel confident in using hand tools and power tools
- Have previous experience with computers
- Have their own transport or live locally
- Ability to work within a small team
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills

Hours: 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:00-15:30 Friday
Holiday: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
Salary:
£18,000-22,000, plus cash healthcare plan
