During and after the initial training stage, you will be working alongside an experienced team of operators skilled in a unique and vibrant sector of manufacturing.

We are a leading Global Design and Manufacturing Business on the outskirts of Salisbury, and due to sustained growth and continued success, are looking for someone to join our team of CNC Router Operators.

Job Description:

Match and select raw materials, Engineering plastics, for processing using job card information
Quality check each stage of processing
Setup and operate CNC controlled flatbed router machines to produce parts correctly to drawing.
Check processed parts off machine to maintain high levels of quality and accuracy
Actively check processed parts for defects
Assist other operators when required

Work experience

Due to the unique nature of our business, we are looking for an operator that can transition from a machining or manufacturing environment; experience operating a cutting machine and processing materials of varying types would be best suited.

This position will involve lifting and maneuvering heavy sheets throughout the day; some work will also involve using a hand Router, Stanley knife and trimming knife.

*overtime available during weekdays and Saturdays*
If you do not have experience operating a CNC Router, or know what a CNC Router is, but do have machine experience within a Production environment, this could be your successful transition into a vibrant new industry where full training is provided.

Pay:
From £11.90 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
