Are you an experienced Accountant looking for your next assignment?


Venn Group are thrilled to be supporting a global business based in Morley who due to a retirement, are looking to appoint an experienced Company Accountant on an interim basis (6-12 months).

Ideally, you will be qualified with 3-5 years experience of managing staff.


The role will be based on site on full time and you will be tasked with managing 3 direct reports.


Key responsibilities will include the delivery of monthly management accounts with supporting commentary and analysis, reporting back to the Finance Operations Manager and FD.


Duties will include:

  • Creation of monthly management accounts to agreed deadline
  • Prepare/file VAT returns and manage inspections from HMRC
  • Prepare/file P11d's and manage payment of class 1a NIC
  • Manage banking and reconciliations
  • Manage expenses, credit card and petty cash claims/payments
  • Managed adhoc financer queries
  • Responsible for management of 3 staff
  • Undertake HR management duties such as disciplinaries, appraisals, recruitment etc

Required experience:

  • Ideally 35 years post qualification experience or be abe to demonstrate you are qualified by experience
  • Experience using SAP is desirable
  • Experience managing staff
