Are you an experienced Accountant looking for your next assignment?
Venn Group are thrilled to be supporting a global business based in Morley who due to a retirement, are looking to appoint an experienced Company Accountant on an interim basis (6-12 months).
The role will be based on site on full time and you will be tasked with managing 3 direct reports.
Key responsibilities will include the delivery of monthly management accounts with supporting commentary and analysis, reporting back to the Finance Operations Manager and FD.
Duties will include:
- Creation of monthly management accounts to agreed deadline
- Prepare/file VAT returns and manage inspections from HMRC
- Prepare/file P11d's and manage payment of class 1a NIC
- Manage banking and reconciliations
- Manage expenses, credit card and petty cash claims/payments
- Managed adhoc financer queries
- Responsible for management of 3 staff
- Undertake HR management duties such as disciplinaries, appraisals, recruitment etc
Required experience:
- Ideally 35 years post qualification experience or be abe to demonstrate you are qualified by experience
- Experience using SAP is desirable
- Experience managing staff
