The Schools and Colleges Engagement Team (SCE), within the Student Recruitment and Marketing Directorate, has institution-wide responsibility for undergraduate recruitment and outreach in the UK and works to build and nurture strong partnerships with schools, colleges and other agencies.

The team's focus is to recruit students to the University, together with the development and management of outreach and widening participation initiatives on and off campus with targeted Schools and Colleges.

The University of Hull has a vacancy for an Outreach Officer (21.5 hours per week) within SCE. The position is temporary to cover maternity leave.

The Outreach Officer will support and deliver Widening Participation and outreach activity on campus, in schools, colleges and communities, representing the University positively and effectively to a variety of stakeholders.

They will assist the Area Leads and the Head of Service to implement wider recruitment and outreach strategies, raising awareness of the benefits of Higher Education and increasing student progression to University in line with the Access and Participation Plan.
