Head of Gymnastics - Leading Gymnastics Provider

London (N11)

35k Basic Salary

Full-time role covering 5 days a week, including weekends

Must have or be actively working towards a Level 3 Gymnastics qualification

We are recruiting for a leading provider of gymnastics and dance lessons in London who aim to inspire a passion for gymnastics and dance in children.

They operate fun, engaging and high-quality lessons across more than 20 schools and venues in London. This company have an incredible reputation and continue to grow every year.

Their instructors are highly qualified and experienced, including former Olympians and World and European competitors, and bring bags of passion, energy, and enthusiasm to their work.

They are now looking for an experienced Head of Gymnastics to join the team. This role offers the chance for the right person to really add their stamp to a business and as the company grows, so will the role, so ambition and tenacity are must-have traits

You will manage, train, and develop a team of instructors across the network and you will work with the senior team to continually assess and improve classes to ensure you are providing the best quality for children.

The role will involve cover when necessary and you will be responsible for inventories, risk assessments, and CPD.

The role will also include creating and implementing a strong recruitment strategy across the business.

Your Responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the running of the Gymnastics programme across the network, always ensuring quality delivery
Working with a team of 50+ instructors to coach, develop and grow their skillset
Building a strong recruitment strategy. Introduce and implement smooth processes businesswide
Continually improving and updating gymnastics sessions and curriculums to maintain engagement, enjoyment, and development for all participants
Managing the daytoday rota of instructors and arranging cover where required
Travel to locations to monitor and quality assure sessions (expenses paid)
Have a Level 3 gymnastics coaching qualification and coached for 56 years
Have a strong track record of team development and be able to demonstrate strong management skills
Be a great leader of people and be happy to get involved when/where necessary
Have an impeccable eye for detail
Be ambitious, tenacious, and hard working
