Extensive staff management and leadership experience, including advising others in coaching, development and performance management
Knowledge and experience of change management and strategy development
Experience of building meaningful partnerships and relationships
Experience of successfully delivering large scale change projects
Extensive experience of leading Libraries & Archives services
Ability to work in a political environment
Ability to lead a complex service area and manage a number of different priorities
Excellent and adaptable communication skills with the ability to involve, inspire and engage across boundaries including staff, communities, partnerships, members and senior colleagues in the councils
Deep commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, with evidence of action taken
