Main Purpose of the Job
As A Farset Hotel Housekeeper/Cleaner, you play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests experience the utmost comfort and satisfaction during their stay.
Your Primary Purpose is to maintain Cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hotel premises, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
By diligently executing your duties, you contribute significantly to creating a welcoming and pleasant environment that exceeds our guests' expectations.
MAIN DUTIES:

Team Leadership:Lead, motivate and supervise a team of cleaning staff, providing guidance, training and support to ensure they perform their duties effectively and efficiently.

Schedule Management: Plan and organize cleaning schedules, assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure adequate coverage and timely completion of all cleaning duties.

Quality Control:Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness standards meet or exceed the hotel's expectations and industry regulations.

Inventory And Equipment Management:Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment inventory coordinate orders and deliveries, and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.

Health And Safety Compliance:Enforce adherence to health and safety protocols and regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals, use of personal protective equipment, and compliance with sanitation standards.

Guest Satisfaction: Address any guest complaints or concerns related to cleanliness promptly and professionally, talking appropriate corrective action to resolve issues and enhance guest satisfaction.

Training And Development:Identify training needs within the team and provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.

Skills/Knowledge Required
- Basic Access NI Check Required.
- At Least 2 years Previous experience in housekeeping Supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or similar setting.
- Strong Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Commercial cleaning: Knowledge of professional cleaning practices and techniques for maintaining cleanliness in commercial settings.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Proficient Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft word/ Excel Packages
Pay:
From £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
