Panel Wiring Technician
Salary:
£25,702 to £27,938 per annum (dependent on skills and experience). A Specialist Allowance of up to £2000 per annum is also available for this role.

Science and Technology Facilities Council, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory Harwell, Oxfordshire.

The facility performs ground-breaking research into the structure and properties of materials at atomic and molecular level, and is the mostproductive research centre of its type in the world.
As a Panel Wiring Technician at this world-leading facility you will support with:
- Building, assembling, and installing control panels.
- Cable assembly, including soldering and crimping.
- Working on both workshop and fieldbased tasks, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different systems.
We are looking for someone with:
- A recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- An ability to read and understand technical engineering documents.
- Experience with different types of cabling and cable assembly.
- Power tool, metal fitting and machine shop experience.
- Knowledge of basic electrical safety.
