Key Account Manager. Engineering/ Automotive Components.

£50,000 Basic + Company Car + Bonus + Benefits.


A fantastic opportunity for someone with a technical sales / sales engineer background, looking to join a UK based manufacturer in a Field Sales role, selling into automotive OEMs.

This company has phenomenal success year on year. All enquiries are warmor from existing clients.

This is a client facing role, where you will be consulting with clients, presenting to them when needed, discussing technical drawings, negotiating pricing and providing on going support when needed.


This is a varied role where you will be on the road visiting clients but also have the head office nearby in Leicestershire so you can be a part of the team and make the most of the strong support network around you.

There is also flexibility to work fromhome.

This muti million-pound, fascinating firm can offer stability, recognition, flexibility, training, and high job satisfaction.

  • At least 35 years B2B sales experience, ideally selling into automotive OEMS
  • The ability to understand technical drawings
  • Ideally worked for a manufacturer, ideally with in the engineering/components/technical space


As a person you will be trustworthy with a strong personality and an individual that always sells on value and quality rather than price.

You will have at least 3-5 years technical sales experience.

You will be competitive by nature with a winning spiritbut as the role is heavily account management you will be the kind of sales professional that always puts the customer first.

You will be self-managing and be expected to use your own initiative to maximise opportunities.
