A rare and exciting opportunity has been created at Mercedes-Benz of Epsom for an experienced Service Lead Supervisor.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the repair of vehicles in a timely manner and to brand standards
  • Responsible for multichannel communications with customer in progress
  • Effective use of Autoline system and standards
  • Full administrative support to all areas of the Aftersales Department.
  • Ensure that the Service Check In and handover process for all visiting customers is followed.
  • Manage liaison between workshop and service reception on customer vehicle progress.
  • Resolve customer issues in line with MBUK standard and customer expectations.
  • Manage and check quality of all invoicing to minimise warranty and external debt risk.
  • Deal with all Credit Control department queries in an efficient manner and taking steps to correct further errors.
  • Full WIP controls
  • Cash Debt Controls
  • Ensure that all internal and external customers receive excellent levels of customer service.
  • Identify any difficulties a customer may experience within any department and resolve these alongside the other departments within the team.
  • Assist the Aftersales Manager with the management and recruitment of the service team to deliver a firstclass customer experience.
  • Identify team members individual training and development needs.
  • To support Aftersales Manager in additional duties and deputise as required.

About You

Skills Required:


  • Demonstrable motor trade assistant service manager/service advisor/aftersales administration/workshop control experience.
  • Experience in working as part of a team.
  • Evidence of delivering against manufacturer Customer Satisfaction Indicator targets.
  • Excellent verbal and nonverbal communicator.
  • Full driving licence.

On Offer

Salary on offer:
£40,000 with OTE of £55,000 per annum depending on experience.

Hours of work:
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:00 with one-hour unpaid break - Total 45 Hours


1 x 18.30 finish a week - early finish given back in return, Saturday working on a rota basis - 08:00 - 14:00 as extra hours.
