Description

Butler Rose is working alongside one of our clients in Aylesbury in their search for a Management Accountant to join their team on a 3-month temporary basis.

This is office based and the pay rate is £15 - £18 an hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities

  • Preparation of all financial accounting processes and production of management accounting information for the Client.
  • Provide expert support to all areas of the business in all aspects of financial decision making
  • Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of Client's service levels and business performance
  • Management Accounts: Ensure group monthly management accounts are prepared in accordance with deadlines. Prepare annual accounts and reconciliations for external auditors. Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations for all the companies within the group andfully understanding the financial position. Responsibility for reviewing, understanding and reporting on any variances to forecast
  • Financial Modelling: Preparation of financial reports and models to assist in the evaluation of business initiatives, sales opportunities, investments and new projects
  • Forecasting: Production of group forecast. Responsibilities include liaising with all senior management/cost centre managers, distribution of monthly forecast reporting pack (with commentary) to senior management and ensuring the tight deadlines are consistentlymet.
  • Planning: Liaising with business units in regard to budgeting and planning processes.
