Description
The Head of Safeguarding for the Healthy Child Programme 4 Barnet (HCP4B service will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of safeguarding policies, procedures, and processes that promote the welfare of children and young people aged 0-19 years and adults at risk of harm.

Have a highly developed specialist knowledge of safeguarding which is underpinned by theory and experience including prevention, detection, leadership and management, education and training.

Adhere to Solutions 4 Health (S4H) policies and procedures and relevant policies and procedures when working within collaborative organisations.

Practice within the legal and ethical frameworks set out by professional codes of conduct and other relevant legislation such as Children's act 2004; Working Together 2018; Mental Capacity Act 2005, Care Act 2014 Liberty Safeguards 2009 (Liberty Protection Safeguards - Mental Capacity Amendment Act 2019)
