Role Purpose:

To be responsible for the provision of a world-class clubhouse service to members, their guests and visitors.

The Assistant Clubhouse Supervisor will play an important role within the Club's management team. The Assistant Clubhouse Supervisor's role is wide and varied.

The responsibilities and characteristics of this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:


Responsibilities:


  • Front of House service, bar & waiting
  • Overseeing the delivery of Club events
  • Assisting with the delivery of the Halfway Hut services, including the food and drink options, the eating/drinking in experience and the restroom
  • Assisting with the supervision, the upkeep, cleanliness and tidiness of the Clubhouse
  • Accurately keep members' accounts and record bar card transactions
  • Assisting the Clubhouse Supervisor and Assistant Secretary in ensuring that selling prices are set at the level agreed by the Board
  • Making certain all cash handling and till procedures are strictly followed, ensuring staff adhere to cash handling guidelines at all times, identifying and dealing with all till discrepancies as soon as identified
  • Taking responsibility for the daily reconciliation of takings
  • Taking responsibility for the placing of orders and receipt of deliveries
  • Meeting with suppliers to agree buying prices and to ensure quality of produce
  • Assisting the Clubhouse Supervisor in raising and maintaining standards of performance across all areas of the clubhouse operation

Experience:


  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is required
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
  • Knowledge of bartending and event operations
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail

Pay:
£25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Experience:


  • Supervising experience: 2 years (preferred)
  • Bar management: 2 years (required)
  • Hospitality: 3 years (required)
  • Customer service: 3 years (preferred)
