Business Development Manager - Luxury Watch Market Sector
Location:
Central London
3 days a week in the office, 2 days working from home, NO weekends, unless you need to attend a Watch Event.
Salary:
k plus, depending on experience, negotiable
Do you have commercial experience in the Luxury Watch Market in Sales, Aftersales, Valuer, or something similar?
Do you have an excellent telephone manner, able to work in the Central London head office but happy to travel the UK attending Watch Events to help network, etc.

Job description
Business Development:
- Proactive sales calls and inperson visits to sell due diligence searching subscriptions to prospective watch trade clients both in the UK and abroad where our client is developing its market penetration.
- Attendance at watch trade shows to sell our client's services in person.
- Strategic development planning to increase utilisation of our client's services by the
- Capitalising on opportunities arising from correspondence with clients during recovery processes to sell the company's services and subscriptions. Encouraging regular reporting of losses by Police and insurers, and routine due diligence from trade members.
- PR via our newsletter and press interviews to promote our clients services successful
Recoveries:
- Representing victims of theft in recovering lost and stolen watches by putting forward claim letters and negotiating the return of watches on their behalf.
- Pursuing ongoing historic recovery cases to bring them to completion.
- KYC checks on individuals involved in selling stolen property to establish their credentials, connections and potential risks.
- Handling search enquiries from the Police.
- Collection, shipment and invoicing for recovered watches, including valuations and resale of recovered property.
Person specification:
- A dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- A confident and engaging telephone manner, with the ability to talk openly and with knowledge about the range of services we offer and be tenacious, challenge misconceptions and negotiate where required.
- An attention to detail and critical approach to accounts of events to establish the true facts of a case.
- Good time management, multitasking and ability to work well in a fastpaced environment where new recovery cases require immediate attention. Excellent personal organisation and the ability to handle daily incoming recovery cases alongside ongoing recoveries.
- An ability to identify prospects for new business and sell our services (e.g. subscriptions to traders) whenever opportunities arise.
- Excellent written language skills and a professional writing style.
- An interest in businesstobusiness sales, identifying new prospective clients and strategic approaches for initiating contact.
- A motivation to develop skills in sales, communication and stolen watch recovery procedures.
- A desire to develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the services the company offers.
- Experience in the luxury watch market is required.
