Our client is currently looking for process technicians to work permanent nights.

Your duties will include:

Maintain plant equipment and machinery to a high standard using planned maintenance programs and relevant systems
Complete all press setups in the required time scale, using the setting sheets provided.
Carryout firstoff quality checks before production produce parts for order
Report any tooling issues when completing press setups and during production runs
Monitor all weights, react to changing trends, to maximise efficiency
Provide constant service to the production line, checking quality of parts by completing line inspections and supporting the shift leader
Fault find process issues efficiently, ensuring the root cause is always found and reported or addressed
Experience of working in maintenance or tooling would be advantageous but not essential
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
Demonstrates experiences of making sound judgement under pressure.

Good technical or process engineering knowledge
Ability to make decisions that maximise plant output + efficiency whilst balance those decisions with safety, product quality and cost
