We are currently recruiting for a
Logistic Coordinator to join our Aberdeen onshore operations team to oversee and manage all survey related equipment movements within the Europe and Africa region.


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the Workshop Manager & Operations team to plan equipment movements, organising Import/Export shipments in line with company requirements
  • Mange all areas of Goods In & Out including physically booking equipment in & out the building, readying pallets for dispatch, returning equipment to local rental partners
  • Help administrate the Asset Management System
  • Ensuring the integrity of import documentation such as Bills of lading, Commercial invoices, AWBs and Customs Entries
  • Ensuring deadlines are met for exporting equipment to clients
  • Preparing and maintaining a delivery schedule and communicating to all relevant departments
  • Maintain very accurate records of goods received & dispatched, imports & exports, licensable goods, assets and maintaining OGEL licence via Spire
  • Maintain good dialogue with operations team to ensure operations run efficiently and relevant lessons learnt are recorded and actioned for future works
  • Acts as the main point of contact for all freight forwarders
  • Verification of all freight invoices
  • Proactively seek improvement to methodology and technology.

Skills Requirements:


  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office, excel/word
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks
  • Ability to define and work to process
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly cooperative approach and able to work under own direction as well as as part of a team.

Experience and Qualifications:


  • Prior experience within a logistic function of an international business
  • Experience in BIS licensing regulations & audits
  • Knowledge in HMRC regulations & audits around importing and exporting goods
  • Knowledge of all import regimes i.e. IPR / RGR / Duty Paid
  • Experience within the Survey sector would be advantageous but not essential
