We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our amazing team. Our Teaching Assistants are very special people who are essential to the success of our school.

Turnfurlong Infant School is a school where every child really matters and where we celebrate the unique status of being an infant school.

About the role:
To assist the class teacher with the education, supervision and welfare of all the
children in the class.
The particular responsibilities of the post holder will be to:
- Prepare work and activities with children in advance, in accordance with the
- communicate/liaise with the class teacher and year lead
- support teaching and learning in partnership with the class teacher

About you:
As a class Teaching Assistant you would:
prepare work and activities with children in advance, in accordance with the objectives set by the teacher
communicate/liaise with the class teacher and year lead
support teaching and learning in partnership with the class teacher
work with small groups of children under the teacher's supervision
administer First Aid as needed (when trained)
