Salary: 63,385 per annum including London Weighting


Contract type:
Permanent, Full Time


Hours: 37.5 hours


Responsibilities


The post holder will lead on all aspects of financial and management accounting, and the delivery of high-quality procurement services which involves making sure that the suitable systems are in place and that the team is developed and motivated to deliver a customer-focused and proactive service across all areas covered by the role.


You will also have the opportunity to provide the business with commercial insight and provide a focus on financial governance and compliance to ensure any risks to the company are understood and appropriately mitigated.


In addition, as a senior management team member, you will contribute to the wider leadership and management of an organisation that is really making a difference.


Managing all financial functions including financial accounting, management accounting, business partnering and housing finance, designing, and implementing financial systems and processes which are appropriate for the organisation's size, strategy, and scale of ambition.


Essential Skills or Experience


A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) with a recent relevant experience of working as part of a senior team with responsibility for developing financial strategies, policies, and plans.

Excellent up-to-date knowledge of best practices in financial accountancy with experience in managing, setting, and monitoring budgets and developing and using management information

A strong track record of responding to and successfully delivering challenging performance targets with an experience of procurement and contract management

An in-depth understanding of working with statutory funders, ideally of supported housing issues and local government commissioning processes with a successful track record of influencing, giving professional advice to, and building effective and productive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
