IVS Group Ltd is in search of enthusiastic individuals with a customer-oriented approach to be part of our team at London Excel as Retail Sales Assistant.

This is a temporary on-site position based in London Excel, where you will handle various tasks including providing exceptional customer service, selling merchandise, managing cash and card transactions, and restocking shelves.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Retail Sales Assistants offer friendly and helpful customer assistance with a high standard of service.
  • Provide customers with product information and guidance on merchandise and toys.
  • Operate cash registers accurately, issue receipts, and follow security protocols.
  • Conduct stock counts, restock shelves, and maintain pricing accuracy.
  • Keep the gift shop clean and organized.
  • Manage customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges.
  • Collaborate with team members for smooth operations.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
Entry Requirement:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in retail stores:
  • Effective communication skills with customers.
  • Basic math proficiency for payment handling.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15kg.
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Salary: £11.95 per hour
Schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday with weekend availability
Work Location: In person
Expected start date: 02/04/2024
